Help Us Find a New Home.
After years of connecting, creating, fighting, and building, Indigenous House’s stay at the Oakland Cannery is coming to a bitter and hard-fought end. After being and growing there since 2007, we are now in need of a NEW LOCATION.
We are seeking funding, as well as a building for our new facilities, where we can continue to shine a light on local artists, build businesses, educate and edutain, and host a series of events and opportunities for youth to grow and to support our elder griots.
A Gallery/Cafe/Learning Center/Bookstore (Indigenous House) remains in the prayers of our ancestors.
In the spirit of SANKOFA, please support however you can. Rise Up!!!
